About Working Immigrants:
Most developed nations owe enormous debts of gratitude to yesterday’s,
today’s and tomorrow’s immigrants. Their physical and
mental labors are often taken for granted, undervalued, excluded from
collective memory.
At Working Immigrants, we exchange information and ideas about the
business of immigrant work: employment, compensation, legal protections,
education, and mobility.
As the administrator of Working Immigrants, I bring twenty years’
experience in worker safety and health. I hope this is a helpful resource
